Details & commissioning

A medium-to-full-size hardwood cutting board with wood-inlay artwork made for your project. Choose the working size, wood combination and practical details, then review a design and quote with Vawcroft.

Make it your own

  • Size: 11 × 20, 12 × 22 or 14 × 24 inches. Other dimensions are available by quote.
  • Thickness: 1.5 inches as standard; other thicknesses can be requested by quote.
  • Grain orientation: Face grain, edge grain or end grain. Construction and artwork compatibility are confirmed with your quote.
  • Corner profile: Square, rounded or chamfered corners.
  • Lifting detail: Chamfered edges, or cutout handles for an additional $20 per board.
  • Juice groove: Optional, for an additional $20 per board.
  • Feet: Choose bronze or stainless steel.
  • Woods: Choose one base species and one or two inlay species from black walnut, hard maple, white oak, cherry, sapele and American beech.

Bring a practical cutting-board project and an original design together. We confirm the construction, thickness and final layout with your quote before production.

Start with artwork or an idea

Send a logo, drawing or reference, or describe the design you have in mind. You do not need finished artwork to start. We review the detail and wood contrast and discuss any adjustments needed to make the inlay in real wood.

Submit your selections and artwork for a project-specific quote. We review the design, total price and production schedule with you, then send a payment link once the project is agreed.
